In a world where AI controls most things, Lucy, an up and coming theater performer, decides to try her hand at television acting. When she arrives at the pilot rehearsal for a new sitcom, things start to become sinister. When her co-star and herself practise their lines, the looming eye of their AI producer poses a threat to their lives if they should make any mistake or go off-script.
A project from within my bachelor of film course. In this film I was the BTS Director and conducted numerous interviews and observational shots of production to capture its making. Unfortunately half of that footage was lost in a data wrangling accident after I handed off my SD’s to the production’s data wrangler.
In post I took the role as the VFX artist and the Titles designer, the resulting shots everybody proceeded to use in their show reels, despite the fact it displays mostly my work. Nevertheless I always enjoy creating interesting things in After Effects.
