Follower is a neo-noir psychological thriller. It explores the psychology of Henry, a male stalker with an unhealthy obsession with Scarlet, a true crime streamer, leading him to stalk her to a point with no limitations.
The Follower was another project that I was asked to join as the location sound recordist. At this point I was quite known for my audio skills and even misidentified as an audio engineering student instead of a film student at my campus.
This project was quite a challenge as it had very minimal dialogue, but very intense atmospheres. And the little dialogue that did need to be captured was a huge challenge, such as an easy rig shot that panned a full 360 revealing all sides of the room around a character in nothing but his underwear… who needed to be mic’d up.
